LASER COMPONENTS offers standard and customized line laser modules in the wavelength range from 405 nm to 905 nm with a crisp line and Gaussian power distribution. Different housings are available (small with 11.5 mm diameter or ruggedized with 19 mm). Due to sophisticated in-house designed electronics a wide range of output power levels can be applied. 

Positioning Line lasers can be produced with different fan angles to ensure that the correct line length is projected in the required working distance. Upon request, the laser line can be optimized for a customer-specified working distance in order to produce optimal imaging results (e.g., line width). Our FLEXPOINT® line lasers are available with fixed focus in the wavelength range from 405-905 nm. The output power can be set according to customer specifications from a few microwatts up to 100 mW. We also build laser modules assigned to specific laser classes (e.g., laser class 1, 1M, 2, 2M, or 3R). 

As an option, FLEXPOINT® line lasers can be modulated or equipped with an external power adjustment. The supply voltage is typically 4.5-6 VDC or 4.5-30 VDC. Standard housings measure 57 mm x 11.5 mm or 77 mm x 19 mm; however, customer-specific housings can also be applied.

Areas of Use 

FLEXPOINT® line lasers are used for positioning and alignment tasks in the medical field, industry, and laser system technology. They are necessary to position patients, to align machines or to position work pieces in production and are also used in measurement technology (e.g. tire inspection) or in warehouses (e.g. as guidance and for safety of autonomous mobile robots).
