A new series of colorPol® UV polarizers with the well known, unique properties like wide operation temperature range, high extinction ratio and good transmittance is now available. Despite the name colorPol® UV, this series covers, besides the UV-A range, also part of the visible range from the UV until 420 nm altogether.
The request for UV polarizers has been growing in the last years more and more. CODIXX has met this challenge and developed a technology that allows the production of UV polarizers with specific parameters at the same favorable pricing like the standard colorPol® polarizers.
The polarizers are long term UV stable even on high exposure rates and can be delivered for the spectral range between 350 nm and 420 nm. The performance can be balanced between optimal contrast ranging from 100:1 until above 107:1 and best transmittance up to >70%. The size can be as small as 0.5 x 0.5 mm2 and as large as 100 x 50 mm2. All rectangular or circular shapes are available as well as many customized designs. The round polarizers can be delivered also with mounts for the standard dimension 12.5 mm; 25.0 mm and 0.5 inches, 1 inches respectively.
