Using an LDP-V50-100V3 is a small and inexpensive way to produce single pulses up to 1 MHz at a duty cycle of up to 5% in the ns range. Pulsed laser diodes that require a current of 5 A to 50 A can be comfortably operated with the LDP-V50-100V3. The laser diode is connected directly to the compact board, saving the need for any additional peripheral devices. A 15 V DC source and a trigger signal is all that is required for operation.
This combination of PLD and driver module is used in optical measurement (for example, in LIDAR, speed guns, scanners), in optical data scanning (for example, in barcode readers), and in medical technology.
