The program of beam expanders with a fixed expander factor, which presently includes the wave lengths 1064 nm and 10.6 µm, has now been extended for 532 nm. Expanders with the factors x2, x3, x4, x5, x6 and x10 are possi-ble. In each case, the maximum input aperture is 6 mm and the maximum output aperture is 23 mm in diameter. As a standard, all beam expanders for 532 nm are supplied with an antireflection coating and thereby ensure a total transmission of > 97%. In addition to the fixed expanders already mentioned, zoom lenses with variable magnification of 2 – 8x are now available for the first time. These zoom expanders are available for the wave lengths Nd:YAG (1064 nm) or CO2 (10.6 µm). The input aperture for both systems is 10 mm. The housing has an overall length of 149 mm.
Due to the Galilei design (without intermediate focus), these zoom beam expanders can be used for laser applications with high powers up to typically 100 W.
