YOUR JOB AT LASER COMPONENTS
- Planning and development of optical coatings for laser applications
- Working with coating processes such as ion beam sputtering (IBS), plasma ion assisted deposition (PIAD) or electron beam evaporation (E-beam)
- Creation of complex coating designs according to customer specifications
- Design and implementation of optical measurement technology
- Supervision of complete projects from development to introduction into production
WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU
- Successfully completed studies with a diploma or master's degree in physics, chemistry, physical engineering or micro- and nanotechnology with a focus on optical coatings and thin-film technology
- Sound knowledge in the fields of laser technology and optics
- Experience in using software for layer simulation, such as OptiLayer and Spektrum, as well as for measurement and data evaluation, such as Origin
- Additional qualifications in mechanical and optical design (Zemax)
- Experience in project management and knowledge of development processes
