Doppler 1000 Series
Quantifi Photonics’ Doppler instrument combines all key optical components for photonic Doppler velocimetry (PDV) in one compact instrument. This allows efficient PDV test setups to be implemented with a small number of channels.
In many areas of science and technology today, it is necessary to determine the velocity of materials. This is true, for example, in shock physics, the examination of material properties, hypervelocity impact studies, and shock wave experiments.
PDV is a proven technique for measuring high velocity events up to tens of km/s. It is often used to complement or replace velocity interferometer system for any reflector (VISAR) systems.
