Electronics for all pulse lengths and power classes
LDP laser diode drivers cover all variants of high-power laser diodes with a wide range of products - from PLDs with pulse durations of 1 µs (LDP-C) to continuous wave laser diodes with different output powers (LDP-CW). For the latter, the manufacturer PicoLAS employs an innovative current control concept with a significantly higher efficiency than conventional linear processes. The LDP-QCW line is a series of cross-over controller electronics for very long pulse durations between 20 µs and 5 ms. They are also designed for high output currents up to 600 A.
Fields of application of the low-cost laser diode control
The combination of HP laser diode and driver module is used in medical technology, process and test engineering, material processing and the printing industry.
