ModBox 1310 nm 44 Gbps NRZ, Optical Reference Transmitter

The Photline Technologies ModBox-1310nm-44Gbps-NRZ is an optical modulation unit that generates high performance NRZ optical data streams. The equipment incorporates a modulation stage based on a high data rate LiNb03 Mach-Zehnder modulator, coupled with a high performance 44 Gb/s RF driver and an automatic bias control circuitry. It can also include an internal DFB laser source and a photo-detection stage.

Applications include; telecom laboratories, component characterisation, transmission system test, and production test. In addition to the traditional 1310 nm wavelength range, it is also available at 1550 nm, 1060 nm and 850 nm.
