Many non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) gas analysers rely upon narrow band-pass (NBP) filters within the mid infrared (MIR) spectral region. Combining detector technologies such as lead salt (1-5 µm), thermopile or pyroelectric (UV-FIR when using suitable absorbers) with MIR NBP optical filters the result is a relatively cheap but accurate sensor for detecting a range of gasses. These include CO, CO2, HC, SO2, H2S, NH4, and so on.
We are pleased to offer a range of centre wavelengths (CWL) and bandwidths (BW) both with demanding tolerances, together with a choice of substrates including sapphire, silicon, germanium, quartz, and more. Additional options include wide field of view (FOV) with high angle of incident tolerant and environmentally rugged thin film coating designs.
Whatever your CWL/BW needs, we can supply in single wafer or chip ready waffle packed form. Contact us now with your specifications.
