Ultra-short pulse lasers with pico- and femtoseconds pulse lengths are coming more and more into application and make high demands on laser safety eyewear.
The filters combine absorption mineral glass with additional dielectrical coatings. Two versions are available:
Standard filter type 0165 protects against radiation of harmonic Nd:YAG, disk- and fibre laser with high protection levels in the area of 180-532 nm and 930-1100 nm.
Filter type 0160 provides in addition to type 0165 protection against radiation of pump lasers. The expanded protection covers 180-532 nm and 750-1200 nm.
Lasers with pulse lengths <10 ns are rated “M” under EN 207. Laser safety eyewear from LASER COMPONENTS with filter types 0165 and 0160 are tested and certified for “M“ rating. The eyewear is CE-marked.
