InGaAs Avalanche Photodiode
The new IAE200 series from LASER COMPONENTS is ideally suited within the 1000 nm to 1650 nm spectral range. The active area of these APDs is 200 µm diameter. The APDs are packaged in TO-46 cans or on a ceramic submounts that can be easily integrated into a hybrid assemblies. With a typical capacitance of 1 pF, bandwidths of at least 500 MHz can be obtained. Small signals in the IR spectral range can detected with a total internal amplification factor of 10 and the measurement range of "eye-safe" rangefinding systems increased significantly.
