Now available from LASER COMPONENTS are hollow retroreflectors manufactured to the highest standards and able to withstand the most demanding application. We have a wide range of retroreflectors to suit a variety of industries including military, commercial, laboratory and aerospace.
The Omni Wave Hollow Retroreflector (OWHR) is a self compensation mirror that is insensitive to position and movement such as tilt. Parallel incident light that falls on the OWHR will be returned with great accuracy to the light source, regardless of the OWHR’s physical orientation. They are ideal for use in laboratory and range finding applications. The cushion mounting makes it extremely resistant to shock and is suitable with all major mounting systems.
Similarly the Hard-Mounted Hollow Retroreflector (HMHR) is insensitive to tilt with very high accuracy. The Invar mount maintains stability of the distance between the apex of the corner cube and the rear surface of the mount, as well as concentricity of the apex with respect to the mounting thread. This makes it suitable for critical applications such as interferometers.
Both of these retroreflectors are available in a range of sizes up to a 5” clear aperture and a variety of metallic coatings.
Ball Mounted Hollow Retroreflectors (BMRs) from LASER COMPONENTS are used for laser tracking and are considered to be some of the best in the industry. They are compatible with laser tracking systems from all manufacturers. LASER COMPONENTS can offer 3 different ball diameters in 1”, ½” and 7/8” and also centred within 0.0005” and 0.0001”.
Other hollow retroreflectors including arrays, penta and roof mirrors are also available. For more information, and a competitive quote, please contact your LASER COMPONENTS’ optical specialist.
A range of these will be available to view at the VTX show in Birmingham, come see us at booth 1646.
