High Performance Multimode WDM

System designers have a very large choice of products and technologies for wavelength multiplexing in singlemode fibres. The situation is totally different when they look for multimode WDMs. There are few suppliers and most of the existing products using the fusion technology have poor performances in terms of isolation between channels.  They are also mode dependent and have narrow bandwidth. LASER COMPONENTS offers a family of multimode 850/1300 nm WDMs with a proprietary technology of filter deposition directly on to the fibre end face allowing very high bandwidths (800 to 900 nm and 1200 to 1600 nm) and excellent typical isolation above 30 dB. The temperature range of -40°C/80°C, the possibility of compact design, the vibration resistance as well as the low cost due to high volume production are also attractive features of this product.
