Hexagonal Laser Spot Generator for 1064 nm
Holo-Or have launched a new series of "hexagonal" diffractive optical elements, that create 6 spots in a hexagonal shape. Whilst this shape is strongly sought after in industry it has always has been difficult to produce. Now Holo-Or has developed a stable design with high efficiency that can serve many applications.
In the far field one will obtain a round distribution. The figure shows a 7 spot version that includes a spot in the centre.

Holo-Or can offer similar elements at other wavelengths from the deep UV till the MID/FAR IR, and at custom aspect ratios and angles. DOEs can also be produced in ZnSe and Sapphire.
