There is growing demand for an increasing variety in hermetic feedthroughs, required for diverse applications such as data transmission in vacuum technology, pressure chambers, and marine technology, and can be offered from LASER COMPONENTS now.
The following options are available:
- FC connectors for single-mode (SM) and gradient index (GI) fibres
- SMA connectors for multi-mode (MM) fibres
The newest option available in this program:
- ST connectors for MM fibres
- FC/APC connectors for SM fibres
The tested and certified feedthroughs can be used for applications in a vacuum up to 10-9 Torr and with a high pressure up to 1,000 bars.
The GI and MM fibres are available with a fibre core diameter of 50 to 100 µm. The hermetic feedthroughs with polarisation-maintaining fibres are particularly noteworthy. Multi-channelled or hybrid designs are available upon request.
