For Harsh Environmental Conditions

The robust Factory5™ cable by OFS can be used ideally, for example, in point-to-point connections in manufacturing facilities. It is based on the 200 µm HCS® fibre with a 500 µm ETFE buffer. The fibre is wrapped in Kevlar threads and an orange 2.5 mm PVC cladding. An additional meshwork made of Kevlar threads and another black 5.0 mm PVC cladding offers the cable the necessary resistance.

The Factory5™ cable has an allowable strain resistance of 1334N at a min. radius of 75mm during installation and 667N at a min. radius of 50mm during operation. It is UL Riser certified; all used materials are free of heavy metals and conform to RoHS standards.

The cable is compatible with the tested and proven crimp and cleave technique by OFS and is offered by LASER COMPONENTS UK assembled with ST and SMA connectors without gluing or polishing.
