During development of the new series of pigtailed FLEXPOINT® laser diode modules the series has been further advanced by the addition of two new wavelengths, blue (405 nm) and green (532 nm). The distinctive feature of these modules is that many different wavelengths can be supplied in the same housing, which is only 55 mm long and 11.5 mm diameter making them ideal for swapping between units in modular system designs. Standard modules are supplied with SMA connectors.
Other variations are available upon request. A 200 µm HCS fibre is recommended as a connecting fibre, offering output powers of 2 mW at 405 nm, 4 mW at 532 and up to 10 mW in the red wavelength range. These fibre coupled modules are useful in many applications, from measurement technology, in-process analysis to illumination systems. Many additional options make the module a versatile tool.
