LASER COMPONENTS are pleased to announce our continued partnership with Cal Sensors, Incorporated (CSI), the world’s leading manufacturer of standard and customised lead selenide (PbSe) and lead sulphide (PbS) infrared detectors, infrared arrays, and infrared emitters.
The detectors are sensitive in the 1 - 5.5 micron wavelength region and are used in spectroscopic, imaging, medical, automotive exhaust, gas detection, moisture analysis, non-contact temperature measurement, flame detection and combustion control industries.
The detectors are offered in standard or custom packages in single element, multi-colour, and array configurations. Options include spectral filters, thermoelectric coolers, and temperature sensors.
Our exciting range isn’t only confined to detectors, we also offer steady-state and pulsable infrared emitters, which can be combined with a detector and suitable filter(s) for gas detection applications via absorption spectroscopy. The emitters are offered in TO-8 and TO-5 packages.
Complimenting our range of lead salt detectors are pyro-electric detectors and arrays; this form of detector whilst having slightly reduced sensitivity offer wavelength detection up to 10 microns!
