CAL Sensors Inc (CSI), manufacturer of lead salt detectors and IR emitters based in Santa Rosa California, named their successor ITW, Inc. (Illinois Tool Works, Inc.) and have now together laid the course for growth. CSI management selected ITW because their similar business practices regarding customer orientation. CSI will continue to exist as an independent company, a normal outcome with ITW acquisitions, and their decentralisation policy.
Larry Johnson, President of CSI, explains: “The excellent technical resources of the ITW Group will help us to react more quickly to customer needs and technological advances.“ Furthermore, CSI actively partook in the Sensor Congress for the first time in 2007. Through this, dialogue with the customer is sought at an early stage.
