As well as low and zero order waveplates, LASER COMPONENTS offers achromatic waveplates for a range of wavelengths.
Being made of 2 different materials such as quartz and magnesium fluoride, the dispersion of the birefringence can be different, which results in the phase shift being kept nearly constant across a large wavelength range.
The achromatic waveplates from LASER COMPONENTS are available cemented, optically contacted or mounted with an airspace depending on your needs. Standard wavelength ranges are 465-610 nm, 700-1000 nm or 1200-1650 nm, other wavelengths can be made upon request.
