920XC Hand-held Single-mode OTDR

The new Greenlee series 920XC OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) hand-helds by Tempo are fully equipped measuring devices for the inspection of optical fibres and optical fibre systems and for the localisation of defects in fibre paths. With the help of an automatic testing function measurements can be performed quickly and easily without much previous knowledge. The measuring device automatically selects the optimal settings. The test fibres are scanned and the measurement results such as, for example, total fibre length, attenuation events and their positions inside the fibre, or the attenuation between two points are clearly arranged in the large, easy-to-read colour display.


The user can choose between having the test results displayed in a table or as a graphical representation, whichever option provides a more concise arrangement of all test results. With a zoom function certain areas in the graphic can be displayed in a detailed manner for an exact readout.


An enormous advantage is the ease with which you can handle the menu controls when entering the basic settings and the required data in  order  to  conduct measurements. The 920XC series OTDRs are an essential and ideal tool for all telecommunications service providers and fibre installers; in fact, they belong in every service workbox.
