Our partner Navitar Inc, a leading US manufacturer of imaging optics, introduces Resolv4K Zoom, the next generation of high performance optical systems, developed for customers who require a wide field of view and high magnification zoom. The Resolv4K optical design has been patented and offers a 400-600% wider field of view compared to conventional zoom systems currently available on the market.
The new Resolv4K lens series has been designed to prioritize optical principles that maximize the use of modern high pixel density sensors. An improved numerical aperture (NA) increases contrast by 25-80% at the specified resolution compared to competing zoom systems. Numerous adapter options allow customers to use a range of sensors from 1/2" to APS (32mm) formats and beyond.
Key features of the Resolv4K system include:

- high contrast imaging for 12 MP sensors (all formats)
- high correction of axial chromatic aberrations in the visible spectrum
- uncompromising performance at long wavelengths with Vis-NIR and SWIR options

The Resolv4K has a modular design. The core zoom module is available in manual or automatic mode, with or without coaxial illumination, and offers a wide variety of optical adapters and related components. Visible, Vis-NIR and SWIR coating options are also available. For applications requiring even higher magnification, the system can be easily paired with Navitar HR large aperture microscope objectives.
