CODIXX is a German company, established on 1 September 1998. The company's core business is the development, production and sale of dichroic glass polarizers, which are sold worldwide under the trade name colorPol®.
Based on a unique technology for the production and processing of nanoparticles in glass, CODIXX manufactures high quality polarizers for the ultraviolet, visible and infrared spectral range.
The extraordinary flexibility of the colorPol® technology allows the production of customized polarizers satisfying demands in all spectral ranges, contrast conditions and designs.
These polarizers are used in a wide variety of applications:
- Optical measurement techniques (electro-optical modulators, laser projectors...).
- Optical communication (Polarization modal dispersion (PMD), polarization dependent losses (PDL), pPolarization multiplexing transmission, optical isolators, polarization adjustment for PMD, Faraday current measurement, Fiber gyroscope...).
- Industrial measurement techniques (optical detectors, light barriers (crosstalk suppression, spurious reflection suppression), polarimeters, ellipsometers, laser frequency stabilization, interferometers, laser velocimetry...).
Our partner CODIXX has announced the new colorPol® N-series, optimized for laser wavelengths of 1310 nm, 1490 nm and 1550 nm. The polarizers from CODIXX are characterized by high transmission, high contrast and a wide spectral band. Customized dimensions and features can be realized according to customer requirements.
