High Quantum Efficiency Photodiodes

These photodiodes offer a particularly high quantum efficiency of typically 99.5%. They are mainly used in research institutions.

The performance of our HQE (High Quantum Efficiency) photodiodes has impressed research institutes around the world. Quantum efficiency is defined as the percentage of photons that generate an electric charge carrier at the photoreactive surface of the photodiode. These photodiodes are not serial products. They are manufactured for specific wavelengths, angles of incidence, or polarizations. To ensure the outstanding quality, each individual component is examined for microdefects.
