Intensity and Phase Modulators for Quantum Physics

Our series of intensity and phase modulators are designed to operate at specific wavelengths of 850nm, 1310nm and 1550nm.  These components offer a low insertion loss with high extinction ratio and are available with various modulation bandwidths, from low frequency to 20GHz and beyond.

The X-cut design of these Mach-Zehnder modulators ensures they have unmatched stability in a wide range of operational conditions, as well as a zero-chirp performance.  Thanks to the lower driving voltage and low S11, higher modulation efficiencies can be reached.

Due to their low Vπ, insertion loss and the fact that they are highly stable, these modulators are suitable for quantum optics, fibre sensors, interferometric based sensors and frequency shifting.  The high power handling for these components is also beneficial.
