In order to keep the time required for maintenance or repairs as short as possible, LASER COMPONENTS offers its customers a quick solution. LC has set up repair and maintenance services in Germany in cooperation with various manufacturers. Trained personnel is responsible for repairs with original spare parts.
Repair of Thermal Power Detectors
European-wide Service for Measurement Devices from Gentec-EO
Laser Components is now an authorized repair shop for defective power detector measuring heads manufactured by the Canadian company Gentec-EO.
From cable breakage to the replacement of a detector disk, many things can be repaired directly in Germany: This not only saves you expensive postage costs, but your device is fully operational again in a very short amount of time because our spare parts warehouse is extensive.

Regular Annual Servicing of Fitel Furukawa Financially Rewarded
Even state-of-the-art, low-maintenance splicers only work flawlessly in the long term if they are cleaned and checked regularly. Take advantage of our annual service check. If you have five or more devices inspected per order, we even come to your premises to inspect motors, electrodes, LEDs, and other parts that are subject to high stress.
We also offer a repair service. As a qualified original workshop service we replace defective elements such as the mainbase, lenses, and the support battery. Even more extensive repairs are not a problem. In order to keep downtimes to a minimum, you may reserve a loan unit upon request.

Repair of Fiber Cleavers
So that Everything Functions within a Certain Tolerance
There are two areas of application for fiber cleavers: Cleave tools are used on site to prepare multimode fibers for assembly with SMA, ST, or V-PIN. Fiber cleavers are used to achieve a smooth fiber breakage in single-mode fibers, which is a crucial prerequisite for successful splicing.
Our fiber optic service team is responsible for the maintenance and repair of your cleaving equipment.
