MIOMD

Vienna, Austria

July 13-17, 2025

Look forward to the presentation Dr. Richard S. Kim, Director of R&D at LASER COMPONENTS Detector Group, Inc. will give at the International Conference on Mid-Infrared Optoelectronics: Materials and Devices (MIOMD 2025) in Vienna. This time he will talk about "III-V InAsSb Photovoltaic Detector for Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) CO₂ Gas Measurement".

In his lecture, Dr. Kim will present his latest research results and developments, with a special focus on the detection of carbon dioxide. The detectors in question are characterized by high sensitivity, compact design and energy efficiency – decisive advantages for applications in environmental monitoring, industry and medical technology.

MIOMD 2025 is a leading platform for experts in the field of medium-wave infrared technologies. Dr. Kim's contribution promises exciting insights into current developments in the field of III-V semiconductors and their role in next-generation gas sensor technology.

We look forward to your visit at!

1100 nm – 1700 nm. Broad range of InGaAs PIN receivers with fiber connection or optical connector.

IAG080S5 IAG080S5
InGaAs APDs
1100 - 1700 nm

Best efficiency thanks to excellent signal-to-noise ratio.

The IAG series avalanche photodiodes feature a particularly good signal-to-noise ratio and support an amplification of more than 30. The inexpensive IAL series is made for consumer products.
IG22X250T7 IG22X250T7
InGaAs Photodiodes 500 - 2600 nm

Infrared (IR) photodiodes with an emphasis on quantum efficiency

LASER COMPONENTS develops and manufactures photodiodes in the spectral range of up to 2600 nm in the Near-Infrared (NIR).
