LASER COMPONENTS führt unter der Bezeichnung QCW-XXXX-GMP jetzt auch bei Raumtemperatur kontinuierlich emittierende Multimode QCLs. Erhältlich sind Laser bei 5,25 µm, 6,1 µm, 7,75 µm und 9,7 µm. Die Laser werden auf einem 7 x 19 mm2 großen Submount geliefert. Die typischen cw-Leistungen liegen hierbei zwischen 15 mW (6,1 µm) und 30 mW (5,25 µm, 9,7 µm).
