A combination of polarizers and l/2 retardation plates is placed into the beam path to variably attenuate the power of your laser. We offer optomechanical parts with which to fixate these components and make them easier to operate.
PPM Series.
Rotational Mounts for l/2 Plates.
Rotational mounts are equipped with two scales with which the retardation plate can be precisely positioned within a few arc minutes. A set screw with a nylon tip is used to lock the angle. The retardation plate can be easily attached with the help of a male thread.
The 1.0” version makes it possible to integrate retardation plates of all sizes with a ring mount that has an outer diameter of 1.0”. The 2.0” version is suited for all plates that have a mount with an outer diameter of 2.0”.
PT Series.
Prism & Cube Mounts.
The PT series optomechanical mounts hold both prisms and cubes. With a mounting surface of 38 mm x 25 mm, they are large enough for beam splitting cubes that have an edge length of up to 23.0 mm.
The clamping system holds the components in place. Two knurled-head screws aid in finding the right position. With these screws the components can be tilted vertically or horizontally by ± 4°. Two threaded holes on the bottom of the mount (M6x1P and M4x1P) offer additional options for alignment on the optical bench.
