Install Connectors Quickly On Site
During the installation of FTTH subscriber connections, classic “pigtails” usually leave behind fiber residues, which are often a hindrance during work and must be disposed of at great expense afterwards. Splice-on-connect (SOC) connectors with fiber ends just a few centimeters long can be spliced to the end of the cable without any further work. A protective tube integrated in the connector is then simply pulled over the finished cable end to prevent contamination.
