To protect the focusing lens found in laser systems in material processing from dirtying, protective windows are used. BK7 and quartz glass are the typical materials employed for this purpose. In many applications, the cheaper BK7 can be applied.
We offer protective windows with different dimensions. The AR coating ensures the least amount of power loss and thus the highest quality in laser material processing. We custom make both the protective window and the coating according to your needs!
Naturally, uncoated protective windows are also available. If the components are replaced often and the power loss is bearable, uncoated versions are an inexpensive alternative.
