Dynamic growth without forgetting our roots: this is the challenge we face at LASER COMPONENTS today. Working for a medium-sized, owner-run family business has many advantages. This is what we hear time and again from our employees, and this is confirmed by our low fluctuation rate. We strive to achieve flat hierarchies, short decision-making channels, extra social benefits, and a positive working environment: the continuous expansion of company profits is not our guiding principle. Each member of our team contributes to the added value of the company and the achievement of these mutual goals.
We will be welcoming our 100th staff member in Olching shortly. We already have more than 160 employees worldwide. However, I can still remember a time when my parents organized a personalized birthday gift for each employee and knew the names of each of the employees’ children. We have never refused growth, but we have always been true to our corporate maxim and have never made any gamble financed with external funds. This conservative path has afforded us the opportunity to focus on the needs of the customer and not on the needs of the proprietors. Disproportionate growth has, therefore, been seldom in our company history. The 100 mark in our employee count is thus quite special for us because this expansion is based on organic growth and not acquisitions and because we can still say that we know all of our employees and feel a certain responsibility for them.
Yours,
Patrick Paul
