Dear reader,
The New Year began promising. Having invested heavily in our core technologies last year, our focus in 2013 will be the introduction of new and improved products. Many of our products are expected to be ready before the highlight of the year, the LASER World of Photonics trade show in Munich. But, how is the year expected to look from an overall economic point of view?
The latest prediction from experts is one of careful optimism. 2012 was the most successful in the history of the LASER COMPONENTS Group – with intense growth in North America and stability in Europe. Nevertheless, many well-known companies have started the year again with reduced employee hours and will be experiencing an economic downturn.
At LASER COMPONENTS, we do not to rely on the crystal ball. We prefer to pursue investments based on the results of dialogue with our customers as opposed to on the prognosis of economic experts: The renovations at LASER COMPONENTS and expansions of production both at LASER COMPONENTS and at our suppliers’ facilities will thus continue.
However, we are not only expanding production. We have increased sales personnel as well as opened up an internal customer service department to decrease the wait time for customers in the processing of complaints. Our goal is to provide our customers with better overall service in 2013.
We look forward to working with you again this year.
Sincerely,
Patrick Paul
