We have good reason to celebrate: 25 years of optical coatings at LASER COMPONENTS. We produce laser optics for high power applications at our headquarters in Olching. The advantages of having a production facility in our main offices are felt almost daily with our customers. Development and sales teams remain in constant dialog with one another, discussing current customer demands and the expansion of our product range. You can be sure that we offer comprehensive expert advice and recommend the best coating technology. More on our founding history and the technologies available can be read on page 2.
As you can see, continuity and sustainability are extremely important to us. At the same time, flexibility and customer focus on the part of our suppliers is also crucial in our selection. If need be, we search out new partners who can fulfill these fundamental requirements. We are, therefore, very excited to introduce a new partner of ours for optical fibers who does just that. Polymicro Technologies is well known for its innovative niche products and standard products of reliably high quality at attractive prices. A new assortment of products includes hollow core fibers for applications with CO2 and Er:YAG lasers. Read for yourself about this new product line.
Lastly, we would like to share with you our news at LASER COMPONENTS. Effective January 1, 2012, we will, after much preparation, begin operation of a new, fully-integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. Due to this transition, we could experience minor delays in some of the departments. After this initial break-in period, as our customer, you will profit quickly from optimized processes.
