Catalog: Pyrodetectors by InfraTec

InfraTec introduced its new catalog on Pyroelectric & Multispectral Detectors at the beginning of the year. It features new datasheets and circuit examples of single-channel detectors with very low power consumption (i.e., LME-336 and LME-352). The range of multiple-channel detectors was expanded by the LIM-102 miniaturized two-channel detector in a TO46 housing and the LIM-253 three-channel detector in a TO39 housing. The datasheet for the long wavelength version of detectors with an integrated tunable Fabry-Perot filter, the LFP-80105, λ = 8-10.5 µm, is available.

InfraTec completely revised and updated the chapter on Basics and Application of Variable Color Products. It contains further information on wavelength-dependent spectral characteristics, the effect of the fan angle on the shift in the central wavelength (CWL) and the full width half maximum (FWHM) of the Fabry-Perot filter, and dynamic characteristics, such as response time, position dependence, and temperature drift. You will find information on the offset-step response of typical detectors in fast temperature ramps in the chapter on Temperature Behavior.
