Bolb’s Germicidal UVC Arrays

Bolb offers its UV LEDs not only as single emitters but as fully assembled arrays as well. The easy-to-install boards provide an optical power of 100 mW or more per chip. Currently, both the S6060 and S3535 types of LEDs are available in arrays with 1x4, 1x12, and 5x5 diodes.

UVC LEDs (typically 270 nm) are used in many different applications (e.g., for sterilizing and disinfecting air, water, and surfaces in industry and healthcare).

The device developers in these industries are specialists in their field but often have little experience with LED technology. They are mainly interested in a compact design and quick application in their own devices. Arrays offer exactly this advantage. In addition, their high performance allows significantly shorter treatment times, which would not be possible with individual LEDs.
