Unlike laser safety eyewear, laser protective windows do not legally have to be certified according to DIN EN 207. But we do it anyway – for your safety and peace of mind!
With our laser protective windows, you are safer: Our windows not only take the optical density (OD) into account but durability as well. We indicate how long our windows withstand radiation; therefore, the most important filter types – 6NDY, BB2, and IR3 – are certified according to EN207. With these three filters, the wavelength range from UV to IR is covered (i.e., from 180 nm to 10.6 µm). Depending on the wavelength, protective levels up to DLB7 can be achieved.
