Our partner InfraTec GmbH, which is known for such innovative products as pyroelectric detectors and thermography cameras, celebrated its 20-year anniversary.
The company was founded shortly after the fall of the Wall as a spin-off of the University of Dresden. LASER COMPONENTS’ business relationship with InfraTec goes back almost as far as the history of the company itself. The first cooperation agreement dates back to 1992.
As part of the celebration, guests were invited to visit InfraTec’s production cleanroom expansion and then attend interesting lectures at the International Congress Center in Dresden. The evening was topped off with a boat tour on the Elbe River and a party with the entire InfraTec staff and business partners from around the world. We would like to thank the managing directors, Dr. Heinze and Dr. Krauß, again and congratulate them once more.
Due to the large demand for infrared sensors, InfraTec has significantly expanded its production facilities over the course of the past few years and increased its production to a two-shift operation. Even with the growth they are currently managing, consistently high quality in all products remains their highest order of business; InfraTec continues to be successful in maintaining this objective.
