Line Thickness Simulator

Take a look at the line thickness and depth of focus

+ Good to Know. The following simulations show the typical minimum line width at 1/e2 and the typical focal depth that can be achieved with FLEXPOINT® MV lasers at different distances.

Depth of Focus. The depth of focus is defined as the range in which the minimum line width increases by factor √2. The larger the value for the DOF, the larger the range in which the line stays in focus.

Line Thickness. The line thickness (LT) and Depth of Focus (DoF) depend on the interaction of laser diode and applied optics in the laser module. LASER COMPONENTS is offering different focusing options for enhanced DoF or minimized line thickness.
