Ultrasonic cleaning for optical fibers
To reliably clean fibers after stripping, we offer an ultrasonic cleaning unit. This tabletop unit was developed for fiber splicing applications; it is indispensable for high-strength splicing!
To insert the fibers, this device is equipped with a rail-guide system that can hold a number of standard fiber mounts. To clean the fibers, it is only necessary to attach the fiber mount. The cleaning process begins by pressing the start button. The cleaning process is over when the visual and acoustic signals go off. The fiber can then be removed.
The intensity of cleaning can be adjusted according to the type and size of the fiber. Special applications have recommended settings.
