Tunable Laser Sources – MATRIQ 1000 Series

MATRIQ 1000 series tunable lasers offer a resolution of 0.01 pm and a power stability of up to 16.5 dBm in C- or L-band. This makes them a versatile and cost-effective solution for a wide variety of laboratory and manufacturing applications.

The following features set this series apart:

  • Fully tunable via C- or L-band; full coverage of all DWDM channels – ideal for telecom applications
  • Intelligent calibration for higher power stability minimizes power differences between channels
  • Resolution of 0.01 pm in C- or L-band
  • Line width of 100 kHz, power of up to 16.5 dBm – ideal e.g. for coherently modulated high bit rate data applications
  • Polarization-maintaining fiber output – the slow polarization axis is aligned at the connector key; available on an optional basis for SM or PM fibers
  • Powerful software tools
    - Programmable via industry standard SCPI protocols
    - Drivers for Python and LabVIEW
    - User-friendly, browser-based GUI
  • USB or Ethernet operation
  • Fully compatible with Quantifi Photonics’ PXI modules

Fiber Optic cw Laser Source – MATRIQ 1102

MATRIQ 1102 delivers cw laser beams with a wavelength of 850 nm. They are ideally suited for applications with multimode fibers.

  • Optical output power of up to +10 dBm
  • Multimode test applications – ideal for multimode datacom applications in the 850 nm window

Fiber Optic cw Laser Sources – MATRIQ 1200 Series

MATRIQ 1200 series fiber optic laser sources are available in a wide range of wavelengths and power classes. In addition to the list of standard sources provided in the datasheet, customized laser sources are also available upon request. Let us know your requirements!

Tunable Laser Sources – 2000 Series

The 2000 Series lasers are tunable laser sources for O-band (1260 nm - 1360 nm) or C-band (1530 nm - 1565 nm). With a scan rate of 400 nm/s and a power stability of 0.01 dB, they are perfectly suited for characterizing and testing the wavelength-dependent performance of devices, waveguides and photonic integrated circuits (PIC) - for example in DWDM and CWDM multiplexers for optical data transmission.

  • Characterization of wavelength-dependent components and materials.
  • Wavelength dependent loss measurements (WDL)
