DLaTGS is used as the detector material when the highest possible performance is required. Although there are many other possible uses, their major application is FTIR.

In applications with low modulation frequencies, thin-chip LTO detectors of the LT31 series offer high detectivity and a good signal-to-noise ratio. The material is extremely robust and temperature stable, so that the detectors can be used without additional cooling elements.
